OUR TEAM
Rick Davidman
President
Rick Davidman’s skills at investing were evident as far back as his mid-teen years when he was crowned stock-picking champion at The Bronx High School of Science. He has continued to hone those investing skills throughout his 40 year career.
His first career after graduating from Wesleyan University in 1984 was as a financial advisor. Since that time, he has developed a niche as an investment specialist and market strategist who aims to help clients maximize their wealth in all market environments.
Prior to establishing Davidman Financial Network in 2020, Rick was Senior Vice President at Element Financial Group, a branch manager for LPL Financial and, before that, Investment Specialist for New England Financial’s New York office.
Investments have not been the only passion that Rick has cultivated over the years. As owner of DFN Gallery, Rick represented the work of established contemporary artists and became recognized as a valuable resource in the creative community. His galleries in SoHo, TriBeCa, Chelsea, and on the Upper East Side were highly respected by artists, critics, and collectors. Rick continues to host exhibitions at DFN Projects at 41 East 57th Street and also curates shows at public venues on a regular basis. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Trustees for the New York Academy of Art.
Rick’s immersion in the art world has led to his bespoke understanding of the financial complexities of those in creative fields. Many of his clients are artists, designers, art consultants, dealers, and architects whom he helps to pursue their long-term financial goals.
Rick lives on Manhattan's West Side and has two sons, Skyler and Reece. He is a competitive tennis player and golfer.
